Concept: Participants learn how to create two assignments of site specific installation art. Participants learn how to observe and notice the structural form and pattern of the brick walls from the buildings in Incheon Art Platform, and then create works that are inspired by the building structural details.

Encoding Workshop

The workshop begins with one hour lecture on the subject of site specific installation art. Examples of works of art will be introduced. Participants learn how to observe and notice the structural form and pattern of the brick walls from the buildings in Incheon Art Platform. Participants create one site specific installation art. Each participant selects one brick wall from Incheon Art Platform's buildings where they would like to work with. Participants imitate the dimensions, pattern and colour of the selected brick wall on a sheet of paper, size 60 x 60 cm, then uses adhesive stickers for the brick colours. Attaching a replica of the brick wall or the brick wallpaper on its original site. If the size and color or pattern are correct, the brick wall paper will integrates with the original brick wall.
