Sutan Khotphuwieng, a local person of the province of Maha Sarakham, Northeastern Thailand, a teacher, a philosopher, a cultural officer, a man with a justice and a family leader is considered an ideal role model for human beings. The film “A Human” represents a true identity of Sutan Khotphuwieng. This film is a collaborative project between Jedsada Tangtrakulwong and the Khotphuwieng family; Taungnak Khotphuwieng (mother), Wantana Khotphuwieng (older daughter) Jirada Khotphuwieng (younger daughter) and Lapon Khotphuwieng (youngest son). Viewer will get to know Sutan Khotphuwieng from his family’s story without his face ever being shown in the film. The image of Sutan is created by information from his family and individual viewer's imagination.  The different roles of Sutan are depicted by each family member; they shoot and edit their own film. Regarding beauty for the truth’s sake, the insiders (his family members) are invited to be involved in this project to illustrate the truth of Sutan’s identity. The film made by Sutan’s children could possibly indicate his offspring’s

quality of life.

นายสุแทน โคตรภูเวียงชาวจังหวัดมหาสารคาม ผู้เป็นทั้งครู นักปราชญ์ นักวิชาการวัฒนธรรม

นักต่อสู้เพื่อความยุติรรมและหัวหน้าครอบครัว เป็นตัวอย่างของผู้มีความเป็นมนุษย์โดยสมบูรณ์  ภาพยนตร์สั้นที่นำเสนอตัวตนของนายสุแทน โคตรภูเวียงในโครงการนี้ เป็นการทำงานร่วมกันระหว่างเจษฎา ตั้งตระกูลวงศ์และสมาชิกทั้งสี่คนในครอบครัวของนายสุแทน อันประกอบด้วย นางทองนาค โคตรภูเวียง นางสาววันทนา โคตรภูเวียง นางสาวจิรดา  โคตรภูเวียง  และ นายลภณ โคตรภูเวียง ผู้ชมจะได้รับรู้ตัวตนของนายสุแทน โคตรภูเวียง ผ่านการบอกเล่าของสมาชิกในครอบครัวนายสุแทน โดยจะไม่มีรูปภาพของนายสุแทนในภาพยนตร์สั้น แต่ภาพของนายสุแทนจะเกิดขึ้นในมโนคติของผู้ชม จากการสรุปข้อมูลต่างๆที่ได้รับและจินตนาการตาม  สมาชิกแต่ละคนจะนำเสนอบทบาทแต่ละด้านของนายสุแทน โดยบันทึกภาพและตัดต่อหนังสั้นด้วยตนเอง การที่เชิญคนใกล้ชิดนายสุแทน มาทำหน้าที่ในการถ่ายทอดความเป็นตัวตนของนายสุแทน เพื่อมุ่งเน้นการนำเสนอข้อมูลที่เท็จจริง ไม่ปรุงแต่ง เพราะเชื่อว่าความจริงคือความงาม ภาพยนตร์สั้นที่สร้างสรรค์โดยลูกๆ ยังเป็นคล้ายกระจกสะท้อนความมีคุณภาพของลูกอันเป็นผลผลิตของพ่อสุแทน
